Direct Transmission Parts - founded by John Mac Donald in holtsville, New York. The year was 1988, and their niche was selling remanufacturing Torque Converters. Over the years, the company has grown, now offering over 25 product lines and 6,000 SKUs of automotive parts.

Now in its second generation, Direct Transmission Parts is positioned to take on the future. Raised in the traditions of his father , Michael Mac Donald serves as Vice President. "I have learned the company from the inside out," said Michael. "We've built a wonderful family and a wonderful corporation. I grew up here, and I intend to carry the Mac Donald tradition into the ever-evolving future."
